Services in the benefice


In view of the current critical situation it has been decided to suspend all services in our churches. From 17 January services will be held again on Zoom. Details of all services will be found on the services page. This decision was reviewed on 30 January as promised, and the current situation is explained here and here.


Benefice  on-line services are as follows:

   Eucharist: every Sunday at 1000

   Evensong: every evening at 1800 (BCP on Sundays)

   Eucharist: every Wednesday at 1000

   Eucharist: every Thursday at 1200


Special service on Sunday 28 February at 1900 to give thanks for our helath and social care workers. More details to follow.

Choral Evensong can be heard on BBC Radio 3 at 1530 on Wednesdays, repeated at 1500 on Sundays. From the beginning of August some services are again being broadcast live.  The BBC also has a large archive of past services to draw on.
